苯肼可用作反应物,进行以下合成反应:
  • N-溴磺酰胺作为催化剂,与芳基醛和乙酰乙酸酯反应,通过一锅假五组分合成4, 4′-(芳基亚甲基)-双(3-甲基-1-苯基-1H-吡唑-5-醇)。
  • 通过巯基乙酸和醛或酮处理合成噻唑烷酮。
  • 与6-(三氟甲基)靠曼酸反应合成5-[3,3,3-三氟-2-(苯基肼基)丙基]-1-苯基-1H-吡唑-3-羧酸。

也可作为前体,在Bronsted碱和金属盐为催化剂的条件下,过与碳酸二甲酯(DMC)反应,制备N-1和N-2选择性羧甲基化产物。
