Application

2,6-Bis(3-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)phenyl)pyridine, also known as 26DCzPPy, is a solution-processable phosphorescent bipolar host material used for highly efficient optoelectronic devices such as OLED displays. It has a μh around 1.0 x 10-5 cm2 V−1 s−1 and a μe of about 1.0 x 10-5 cm2 V−1 s−1.
2,6-Bis(3-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)phenyl)pyridine, can be used in R&D in the field of organic electronics. It is commonly utilized as a host material in the emissive layer of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) devices. provides good film-forming properties, high charge transport efficiency, and an excellent energy level match with various emissive dopants. It can be used as a hole-blocking or electron-blocking layer material in OLED devices. It can be used in organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices as an exciton-blocking layer. It helps in enhancing the charge separation and minimizing exciton recombination, thereby improving the power conversion efficiency of OPV devices.
