Mathias works as senior scientist in the BioMonitoring R&D in the Life Science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, specializing in certified reference materials and proficiency testing. 2016, after he completed his Ph.D. at the University Medical Centre in Freiburg, Germany, he joined the R&D Scientist team at the facility in Buchs, Switzerland.
