General description

Immunoglobulins (Ig) are produced by the B cells and play crucial role in host humoral immune response. A typical immunoglobulin consists of two heavy chains and two light chains. The two light chains are either κ or the λ chain. The B cells express one type of light chain during their life time.
Lambda (λ) light chain comprises an amino-terminal variable region and carboxy-terminal constant region. λ chain is biologically critical and constitutes up to 30 to 40% of human immunoglobulin (Ig) molecules. The human λ locus is mapped to the chromosome location 22.

Application

Anti-Human Lambda Light Chain (Bound and Free) antibody has been used in surface plasmon resonance assay.
Anti-Human Lambda Light Chain (bound and free) antibody produced in goat has been used in indirect enzyme linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA).

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative

Storage and Stability

For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, solution may be frozen inworking aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is notrecommended.
