Application

Hck is a protein-tyrosine kinase that is expressed in hemopoietic cells. It is used in leukemia research .

Biochem/physiol Actions

Hck is a member of the Src tyrosine kinase family. Hck has been shown to associate with and be activated by Bcr-Abl, which is a protein-tyrosine kinase that is expressed in chronic myelogenous leukemia .
