Gene Information

mouse ... Jak3(16453)

Specificity

: Recognizes murine JAK3, Mr 125kDa and JAK3 degradation products, Mr 95-120kDa. The antiserum shows very poor immunoreactivity for human JAK3. No immunoreaction was noted with immuno-precipitated mouse JAK1 and JAK2
This antibody has been tested on several human cell lines including A431, Hela, Jurkat, and HEK293 cells. The antiserum shows very poor immunoreactivity for human JAK3

Immunogen

peptide corresponding to residues 934-952 (RDELCVAGAQLYACQDPAI) of murine JAK3. The immunizing peptide sequence shares 16/19 amino acids with rat JAK3, but contains an amino acid insertion, which may block cross-reactivity. The immunizing peptide shares 12/19 amino acids with human JAK3.

Application

Anti-JAK3 Antibody is an antibody against JAK3 for use in WB.

Quality

routinely evaluated by immunoblot on lysate from a mouse cytotoxic T lymphocyte cell line (CTLL)

Target description

125 kDa
