Cell Line Description
Derived from a 33 year old female with plasma cell leukaemia. The cells synthesise IgG1 (kappa-light chain) and are EBNA positive.Although the cells are reported to originate from a patient with a plasma cell leukaemia , it has now been shown that this is in fact an EBV transformed B lymphoblastoid cell line .
