MYB is a transcription factor that regulates stem and progenitor cells in the bone marrow, colonic crypts and a neurogenic region of the adult brain. Loss of MYB activity in these cells leads to severe or lethal phenotypes. MYB is an oncogene and is observed in some human leukemias. In addition, It is also observed that MYB is activated in colon and breast cancer.

For extended storage, freeze at -20 ˚C in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing, or storage in “frost-free” freezers, is not recommended.
