애플리케이션

Ammonium trifluoromethanesulfonate can be used:

• As an electrolyte additive in aqueous metal ion batteries. It is used to enhance the ionic conductivity of electrolyte and widens the electrochemical stability window of the battery.
• As a precursor to prepare solid polymer electrolytes and gel polymer electrolytes via solution casting by method.
• As a co-catalyst to prepare Poly(p-phenylenediamine) and their derivatives. These conductive polymers are used in sensors and organic photovoltaic cells.
• A dopant in the preparation of flexible poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)/polyethyl methacrylate ammonium triflate (PVDf-HFP/PEMA-NH₄CF₃SO₃)polymer electrolyte films.
• A cathode additive in proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells to increase the local oxygen concentration near the Pt catalyst, which enhances single-cell performance.
