General description

General drug-efflux transporter interaction studies. Both substrate and inhibitor interactions can be assessed using vesicles. Membrane Preparations for ATPase Assays are suitable for drug-efflux transporter interaction studies based on ATPase activity determination, and could be used for differentiation between transporter substrates and inhibitors. Control Membranes with no-, or significantly lower transporter activity are available for both Vesicular Transport and ATPase Assays.

Application

Control Membranes with no-, or significantly lower transporter activity provide appropriate negative controls for both Vesicular Transport and ATPase assays. Refer to individual Vesicular Transport or ATPase assay product detail pages for appropriate control membranes needed for a specific assay.
