General description

This peptide is a substrate for the Main protease from SARS-Cov2, 3CL protease (Mpro), . This substrate allows measurement of the activity of 3CL protease using a standard plate reader or spectrophotometer.
Proteolytic cleavage by 3CL protease will release the free pNA group from the peptide (sequence TSAVLQ) with maximum absorption peak at 405 nm (A4051μM = 0.00916)
