Gene Information

human ... WNT10B(7480)

General description

Wingless-type MMTV integration site family member 10B (WNT10B), also known as Protein Wnt-12 (WNT12), consists of structurally related secreted signaling proteins implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. WNT10B is detected in most adult tissues, with the highest levels found in heart and skeletal muscle, and lower levels found in brain. WNT10B may be involved in breast cancer, and its protein signaling is likely a molecular switch that governs adipogenesis. Defects in WNT10B are linked to split-hand/foot malformation type 6 (SHFM6).

Immunogen

Purified recombinant fragment of human WNT10B expressed in E. coli.

Application

Anti-WNT10B Antibody, clone 5A7 is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody, that targets Wnt & has been tested in IHC, western blotting & Immunofluorescence.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:500-1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected WNT10B in human kidney and liver tissues.

Immunofluorescence Analysis: A 1:200-1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected WNT10B in PANC-1 cells.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
