General description

A stable-labeled internal standard suitable for numerous quantitative LC/MS and GC/MS applications in forensic analysis, clinical toxicology testing, pharmaceutical analysis and isotope dilution methods. Naloxone is an opiate drug used to counter the effects of opioid overdose.

Application

  • Naloxone-D₅ analytical standard: Naloxone-D₅ is a stable isotopic label extensively utilized as an analytical standard in mass spectrometry to study the pharmacokinetics of naloxone. This application is critical for understanding naloxone′s metabolism and clearance rates in opioid overdose scenarios, thereby enhancing therapeutic strategies and drug safety (Xu et al., 2018).
