General description
Application
- Fentanyl-D₅ analytical standard: Stability and compatibility of an intramuscular fetal anesthetic cocktail, which includes Fentanyl-D₅, were studied for fetal intervention. This highlights Fentanyl-D₅′s role as a reliable analytical standard in the preparation of precise medication dosages essential for sensitive applications (Ross et al., 2024).
- Opioid research chemical: Fentanyl-D₅ was used in developing a method for quantifying nitazene analogs in Dried Blood Spots using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, underlining its importance as a research chemical in the study of synthetic opioids (Ververi et al., 2024).
- Mass spectrometry Fentanyl: The determination of nine fentanyl drugs in hair samples by GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS employed Fentanyl-D₅, showcasing its critical application in forensic toxicology and pharmacokinetic studies to track opioid exposure (Wei and Su, 2022).
- Synthetic opioid calibration solution: A novel bioanalytical method determined opioids in blood and pericardial fluid, utilizing Fentanyl-D₅ as part of the calibration solution. This study highlights its pivotal role in enhancing the reliability of quantitative toxicological analysis (Ferreira et al., 2020).
