General description

A certified solution standard suitable for use as starting material in calibrators and controls of N-desmethylflunitrazepam for LC/MS or GC/MS testing methods. N-Desmethylflunitrazepam, also known as norflunitrazepam, is a major urinary metabolite of flunitrazepam. Flunitrazepam is an intermediate-acting benzodiazepine marketed under the trade name Rohypnol as a hypnotic, sedative, anticonvulsant and skeletal muscle relaxant.

Application

  • Simultaneous production of p-tolualdehyde and hydrogen peroxide in photocatalytic oxygenation of p-xylene and reduction of oxygen with 9-mesityl-10-methylacridinium ion derivatives.: This study explores the photocatalytic oxygenation of p-xylene, resulting in the production of p-tolualdehyde and hydrogen peroxide. This process showcases innovative methods in photocatalysis and synthetic chemistry, highlighting the versatility of p-xylene in chemical transformations (Ohkubo et al., 2010).
