TMEM192 (transmembrane protein 192) is a membrane protein that localizes to lysosomes. It has a predominant expression in lung, liver, pancreas and kidney. It exists as a homdimer, with the chains connected with one or more disulphide linkages.

Applicazioni

Anti-TMEM192 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Azioni biochim/fisiol

TMEM192 (transmembrane protein 192) is up-regulated in multiple human cancer cell lines, where it promotes tumor growth and proliferation. Inactivation of this gene in tumor cells leads to apoptosis mediated through autophagy by mitochondrial pathway.
