Montelukast Sodium is an orally administered leukotriene receptor antagonist drug that acts by inhibiting the cysteinyl leukotriene (CysLT1) receptor. It is effective against leukotrienes responsible for bronchoconstriction and inflammation of the airways leading to asthma problems.

Applicazioni
