一般說明

丙酮酸激酶（PK）是催化糖酵解途径中最后一步的酶，能催化将磷酸基团从磷酸烯醇式丙酮酸（PEP）转移到ADP，生成一分子丙酮酸盐和一分子ATP。由于丙酮酸激酶表达或活性的缺陷会造成的丙酮酸激酶缺乏症，是溶血性贫血的第二大常见原因。

丙酮酸酶活性检测试剂盒提供了一种简单且直接的检测多种生物样品中丙酮酸激酶活性的方法。丙酮酸的浓度可通过偶联酶促反应来测定，此反应会生成与样品中的丙酮酸含量成正比的比色(570 nm)/ 荧光(λex = 535/λem = 587 nm)产物。一单位丙酮酸激酶的定义为，在25℃ 条件下每分钟将一个磷酸基团从PEP转移到ADP生成1μmol 丙酮酸所需的酶量。
