一般說明
Anti-TTF-1 (Thyroid Transcription Factor 1) is useful in differentiating primary adenocarcinoma of the lung from metastatic carcinomas originating in the organs rather than thyroid, germ cell tumors, and malignant mesothelioma. It can also be used to differentiate small cell lung carcinoma from lymphoid infiltrates. TTF-1 labeling is also seen in thyroid and thyroid-derived tumors TTF-1 immunostaining is useful in the differentiation between pulmonary and nonpulmonary origin of adenocarcinomas in malignant effusions. TTF-1 staining is very reliable in discerning whether a brain metastasis has arisen from a pulmonary or nonpulmonary site, particularly when dealing with adenocarcinomas and large-cell carcinomas.
Thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1) is a transcription factor that plays a role in regulating genes expressed within the thyroid, lungs, and brain. TTF-1 expression is present in normal thyroid epithelium and type II pneumocytes and nonciliated bronchiolar secretory cells of the lung. TTF-1 expression is seen in most primary lung and thyroid carcinomas, but rarely in other carcinomas. Anti-TTF-1 immunohistochemistry is useful for identifying carcinomas of thyroid and lung origin.

Antibodies to the pulmonary epithelial cell-specific proteins surfactant proteins A and B (SP-A and SP-B) and to thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1), a homeodomain nuclear transcription protein, were used as immunohistochemical markers to asses their ability to distinguish primary pulmonary non-small

TTF-1 is a tissue-specific transcription factor expressed in the epithelial cells of thyroid and lung. This study investigates the immunohistochemical expression of TTF-1 in pleural malignant mesotheliomas (MM) and adenocarcinomas (AC) of the lung, respectively. For this purpose, 33 biopsy

Thyroid transcription factor-1 (TTF-1) has been known to regulate the transcriptional activity of thyroid-specific genes. We examined the expression of TTF-1 in non-neoplastic and neoplastic thyroid tissues. By immunohistochemistry, the nuclei of normal and hyperplastic follicular cells strongly reacted with

Thyroid transcription factor 1 (TTF-1), a homeodomain-containing transcription factor, plays a pivotal role in lung development, cell growth, and differentiation processes. The current literature reports considerable variation in frequency of TTF-1 protein expression in human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
