- Cell migration occurs in a variety of biological processes includingwound healing, embryonic development, and immune response. Because of the importance of cell migration in angiogenesis, oncology, neurology, andespecially immunology, there is an increased interest in understanding theunderlying biological mechanisms at a single cell level.
- Traditional multiwell (Boyden chamber) migration assays can have limitations, such as: (1) gradients are not linear, well-established, or controlled, (2) quantificationof migratory cells is based on an endpoint measurement rather than a dynamicdetermination, and (3) imaging of the cells while they are migrating iscurrently not possible.
- The Millicell µ-Migration Assay Kit overcomes these limitations.
- Its microfluidic, low-volume technology promotes a stable, diffusion-generatedconcentration gradient that is consistently linear and lasts for more than 48 hours. Designed for video microscopy assays, the µ-Migration Slide is made froma plastic with high optical qualities similar to those of glass. At specifictime intervals, images of the observation area can be acquired, allowingreal-time monitoring and quantitative measurements of cell migration.

1.Millicell® µ-迁移玻片:(部件号CS204500)4个无涂层灭菌玻片。每张玻片包含3个小室。
2.Millicell µ-迁移帽和塞: (部件号CS204501)各48个。每个载玻片12个盖子和12个塞子。
3.人IV型胶原: (部件号CS204498)一瓶100 µg的1 mg/mL人胶原IV。
4.乙酸缓冲液: (部件号CS204485)一个装有1.5 mL 0.5 M乙酸的小瓶。
5.BSA溶液: (部件号CS204507)一个装有100 µL 30% BSA溶液的小瓶。
6.斜面移液器吸头: Fisherbrand SureOne 200 µL吸头,Fisher目录号02-707-419。两个96头盒。
