Therapeutic drugs enclosed in poly-ethylene glycol (PEG) conjugated ceramide serves as liposomal carriers, ensuring a longer circulation period. It exhibits a neutral surface electrostatic charge which prevents the leaking of positively charged encapsulated drug molecule.
