應用

1.0 M NaPF₆ in propylene carbonate (PC), battery grade is a ready to use electrolyte for sodium-ion batteries., It is one of the best performing electrolytes, especially for hard carbon anodes. Propylene carbonate is an excellent solvent with a lower melting point (-49 °C) than other carbonates, making it suitable for low-temperature applications. For use with sodium metal anodes, much improved performance can be achieved by combining this electrolyte with 5 wt% fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC), which stabilizes the surface of the anode.
