Terbium(III) oxide (Tb2O3) is a rare earth oxide with high thermal stability and ability to absorb and emit light at specific wavelengths. It is widely used as a key component in solid-state lighting, display technologies, and as a dopant in lasers. Additionally, Tb2O3 is utilized in the production of green phosphors for cathode ray tubes (CRTs) and LED lighting, enhancing energy efficiency and color rendering.
