Immunogène

Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human NR4A2

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

NR4A2 is a member of the steroid-thyroid hormone-retinoid receptor superfamily. The protein may act as a transcription factor. Mutations in NR4A2 gene have been associated with disorders related to dopaminergic dysfunction, including Parkinson disease, schizophernia, and manic depression. Misregulation of NR4A2 gene may be associated with rheumatoid arthritis. This gene encodes a member of the steroid-thyroid hormone-retinoid receptor superfamily. The encoded protein may act as a transcription factor. Mutations in this gene have been associated with disorders related to dopaminergic dysfunction, including Parkinson disease, schizophernia, and manic depression. Misregulation of this gene may be associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Four transcript variants encoding four distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. Additional alternate splice variants may exist, but their full length nature has not been determined. This gene encodes a member of the steroid-thyroid hormone-retinoid receptor superfamily. The Nur transcription factors Nur77 (NGFI-B, NR4A1), Nurr1 (NR4A2), and Nor-1 (NR4A3) are a sub-family of orphan members of the nuclear receptor superfamily. These transcription factors are products of immediate early genes, whose expression is rapidly and transiently induced in

Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) is one of the most common mutagens encountered by humans and induces the formation of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPDs) and pyrimidine-(6-4)-pyrimidone photoproduct (6-4PP) lesions in the genomic DNA. To prevent the accumulation of deleterious mutations these lesions

Although BRAF(V600E) is well known to play an important role in the tumorigenesis of melanoma, its molecular mechanism, particularly the epigenetic aspect, has been incompletely understood. Here, we investigated the role of BRAF(V600E) signaling in altering gene methylation in the

The BRAF V600E mutation plays an important role in the tumorigenesis of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC). To explore an epigenetic mechanism involved in this process, we performed a genome-wide DNA methylation analysis using a methylated CpG island amplification (MCA)/CpG island
