Descripción general

Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-BB (PDGF-BB) is a cystine-linked homodimer that belongs to PDGF growth factor family and is expressed mainly by vascular endothelium, megakaryocytes and Leydig cells. It has key roles in regulating neurogenesis, producing proinflammatory cytokines by orbital fibroblasts in Graves′ Ophthalmopathy, cell proliferation, development, angiogenesis and cell survival. Anti-Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-BB antibody can be used for neutralizing the biological activity of recombinant human PDGF-BB, recombinant human-AB, natural human PDGF, rat PDGF-BB, and porcine PDGF-BB. It can also neutralize recombinant human PDGF-AA at 50-100 fold high IgG concentration. Goat Anti-Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-BB antibody reacts specifically with human PDGF-BB. The product has also shown less than 10% cross-reactivity for recombinant human PDGF-AA.

Inmunógeno

Recombinant human PDGF-BB expressed in Escherichia coli.

Aplicación

Anti-Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-BB antibody can be used in immunoblotting and ELISA.

Forma física

Lyophilized from 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline pH 7.4 with 5% trehalose.
