Descripción general

Specificity and reactivity are determined by Ouchterlony Double Diffusion and immunoelectrophoresis versus the biotin-carrier protein complex. No reactivity is observed versus the carrier protein.

Inmunógeno

Biotin-KLH conjugate

Aplicación

In some applications, localization of biotinylated probes with avidin produces high background levels. Anti-biotin reagents may be substituted for avidin to decrease non-specific binding.

Forma física

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% bovine serum albumin and 15 mM sodium azide.

Platelet-membrane surface receptors are important targets for pharmacologic intervention in cardiovascular disease. Among these, glycoprotein (GP) IIb-IIIa is dominant and integrally involved in platelet aggregation and thrombus formation. When activated, GPIIb-IIIa binds soluble fibrinogen (Fb) in a key, early step
