Resomer® RG 502 puede utilizarse para formular un sistema de administración de nanomedicamentos basado en PLGA para el antiinflamatorio, éter de 6-bromoindirubina-3′-glicerol-oxima (6BIGOE).

También puedeutilizarse para preparar formulaciones de liberación controlada para la administración de HCl de naloxona.
