Anwendung

O-Phospho-L-tyrosine has been used:
  • as a diluent of anti-phosphotyrosine antibody to study sperm capacitation
  • as an amino acid standard in liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) analysis
  • as an amino acid standard in two-dimensional thin-layer electrophoresis system to analyze phosphoamino acids on the phosphorylated starch phosphorylase (L-SP)

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

Phosphotyrosine acts as a docking site in protein regulation by stimulating interaction between tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and phosphotyrosine domains of other proteins.

c-Met signaling has been implicated in oncogenesis especially in cells with c-met gene amplification. Since 20 % of gastric cancer patients show high level of c-Met expression, c-Met has been identified as a good candidate for targeted therapy in gastric cancer.

Cell signaling, one of key processes in both normal cellular function and disease, is coordinated by numerous interactions between membrane proteins that change in response to stimuli. We present a split ubiquitin-based method for detection of integral membrane protein-protein interactions

Deregulated gp130-dependent STAT3 signalling by the pleiotropic cytokine interleukin (IL)-11 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of gastric cancer (GC), the third most common cancer worldwide. While the IL-11-gp130-STAT3 signalling axis has traditionally been thought to exclusively use the membrane-bound

Mammalian sperm undergo a series of biochemical and physiological changes collectively known as capacitation in order to acquire the ability to fertilize. Although the increase in phosphorylation associated with mouse sperm capacitation is well established, the identity of the proteins

Grb2-associated binder (Gab) docking proteins regulate signals downstream of a variety of growth factors and receptor tyrosine kinases. Neuregulin-1 (NRG-1), a member of epidermal growth factor family, plays a critical role for cardiomyocyte proliferation and prevention of heart failure via
