Methamphetamin ist eine psychostimulierende Droge aus der Stoffgruppe der Phenethylamine und Amphetamine. Diese umgangssprachlich auch als „Meth“, „Ice“ und „Crystal“ bekannte Snap-N-Spike®-Referenzlösung eignet sich für den Einsatz in LC-MS- oder GC-MS-Anwendungen zum Beispiel in der klinischen Toxikologie, bei Tests im Sport und in der forensischen Analytik oder der Urin-Drogenkontrolle. Das rechtsdrehende Isomer von Methamphetamin wird unter dem Handelsnamen Desoxyn® zur Behandlung von ADHS und Adipositas verkauft.
