Choose Eppendorf twin.tec PCR plates to achieve reliable PCR results every time. twin.tec plates offer purity, stability, different colors and other simple, intelligent features that make your everyday work easier. The stable polycarbonate frame is well suited for automated and high-throughput processes, and the different colors allow you to quickly organize the individual steps of your workflow.
Eppendorf twin.tec® 96 Well PCR Plates improve recovery of nucleic acids by reducing their absorption to the tube wall. A combination of special manufacturing technologies and selected polypropylene batches ensures nearly 100 % recovery of DNA/RNA molecules without surface coating to eliminate the risk of sample contamination.Batch-tested and certified by an independent laboratory to be free from DNA, DNase, RNase, and PCR inhibitors.

  • One-piece design: Combining a polycarbonate frame and polypropylene wells for optimum performance.
  • Exceptionally solid and torque-resistant polycarbonate frame for ultimate rigidity.
  • Extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells guarantee optimum heat transfer to the sample. They are designed to maximize the yield of your target molecules. DNA is less likely to bind to polypropylene and thus remains within the liquid of your reaction. Subsequently, more molecules are available for the chemical reaction, e.g. PCR.
  • The OptiTrack® matrix enables faster sample identification and minimizes pipetting errors.
  • Raised well rims provide effective sealing and reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
  • Ideal for quantitative real-time PCR as well.
  • Autoclavable (121 °C, 20 min).
