Description générale

Human GDF-15 / MIC-1 ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of a target protein in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine and/or cell and tissue lysates. Growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15) is a cytokine for stress-response. It elevates during an inflammatory response and tissue injury. GDF-15 is also associated with cardiometabolic risk. It is localized in the adipocytes, macrophages, cardiomyocytes and vascular smooth muscle cells.
