Penthiopyrad is a carboxanilide fungicide, mostly used against basidiomycetes and ascomycetes.1

Application

Penthiopyrad may have been used as analytical standard in UPLC–MS–MS analysis for determination of succinate-dehydrogenase-inhibitor (SDHI) fungicide residues from fruits and vegetable samples.
