Aplicação

Ações bioquímicas/fisiológicas

Calcium channel, voltage-dependent, β 4 subunit is a protein encoded by the CACNB4 gene in humans and is mapped to chromosome 2q22-23. This region of the chromosome is associated with human disorders. It is involved in epilepsy syndromes-generalized epilepsy with febrile seizures plus (GEFS1) and febrile seizures (FEB3). The β subunits plays essential role for molecular determination of the kinetics as well as voltage dependence of Ca²⁺ channel gating.
