Description générale

Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is a glycoprotein antibody with two equivalent light chains and a pair of identical heavy chains. CF 647 is an organic cyanine dye useful in fluorescent microscopy studies. Antibody–CF 647 conjugates are affinity-purified antibodies labeled with a far-red fluorescent dye, CF 647. CF dyes are excellent alternatives to Alexa Fluor dyes for antibody labeling with exceptional brightness, photostability, and/or specificity.

Spécificité

Binds all mouse IgGs (minimal cross-reaction with bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, hamster, horse, human, rabbit and sheep serum proteins)

Immunogène

mouse IgG (H+L)

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

Immunoglobulin G (IgG) on pepsin digestion results in fragment crystallizable (Fc), which comprises the H chain constant region. Papain digestion of IgG results in the generation of fragment antigen-binding (Fab) comprising of one complete L chain and a variable and CH1 region of H chain.

Immunoglobulins are heterodimeric proteins composed of 2 heavy and 2 light chains. They can be separated functionally into variable domains that bind antigens and constant domains that specify effector functions, such as activation of complement or binding to Fc receptors.

Of the five immunoglobulin isotypes, immunoglobulin G (IgG) is most abundant in human serum. The four subclasses, IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4, which are highly conserved, differ in their constant region, particularly in their hinges and upper CH2 domains. These
