Protein phosphatase 3-catalytic subunit (PPP3CB) is one of the subunits of calcineurin A. The gene encoding this protein is present on chromosome 10q22.

Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

As a subunit of calcineurin A, protein phosphatase 3-catalytic subunit (PPP3CB) has an important role in signal transduction. It may be linked to schizophrenia.
