17α-Methyltestosterone is an androgenic steroid used in the treatment of testosterone deficiency. 17a-Methyltestosterone is abused in sports as a performance-enhancing drug. This analytical reference standard is applicable for use in sports testing, endocrinology, urine drug testing, or forensic analysis by LC-MS/MS or GC/MS.
