General description
iFluor 594 is optimized for labeling antibodies and proteins. It is a pH-independent dye that works over a wide range of pH (3 to 11). It displays an excitation max at 588 nm and an emission max at 604 nm. Its spectral properties are similar to Texas Red® and ALEXA FLUOR™ 594. However, compared to Texas Red®, it is easier to conjugate with R-Phycoerythrin (RPE) with higher conjugation yield and the resulting RPE-iFluor 594 tandem dye offers better FRET efficiency. It exhibits decent stability shows good reactivity and selectivity with amino groups.
