Cell Line Origin

Mouse friend leukemia lymphoblast

Cell Line Description

T-3-Cl-2-0.fl is a clone of T-3-Cl-2, which originated from a splenic lesion of Friend virus-induced leukemia in a DD mouse. The cell line can be induced to differentiate into erythroblastoid cells with 1.5% DMSO. T-3-Cl-2-0.fl has been eradicated from mycoplasma using MC-210 by the originator.

Study of erythroid differentiation

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 3-9 x 100,000 cells/ml; 5%CO2; 37ºC
