General description

Native IgG1 from human myeloma plasma.
Native IgG1 from human myeloma plasma. Purified from plasma of patients with myelomas producing IgG1 with kappa light chains.

Warning

Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)

Physical form

In 150 mM NaCl, 20 mM sodium phosphate buffer, pH 7.4.

Preparation Note

Prepared from plasma that was shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HCV, HBc, HIV-1 and HIV-2.

Other Notes

Single arc by immunoelectrophoresis against antiserum to whole human sera and human κ free and bound light chain. Note: the heavy chain of myeloma IgGs may appear as either a single or double band on gel electrophoresis. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.

The swell of experimental imaging technologies to noninvasively measure immune checkpoint protein expression presents the opportunity for rigorous comparative studies toward identifying a gold standard. 89Zr-atezolizumab is currently in man, and early data show tumor targeting but also abundant uptake

Cost-effective manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals in non-mammalian hosts still requires tremendous efforts in strain development. In order to expedite identification of novel leads for strain engineering, we used a transposon-mutagenized yeast genomic DNA library to create a collection of Saccharomyces cerevisiae
