General description

This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable for use in HPLC, GC/MS or LC-MS/MS CBL testing applications in pharmaceutical research, forensic analysis, or Cannabis potency testing & impurity profiling of Cannabis blends or food products.

(±)-Cannabicyclol is a degradation product of cannabichromene (CBC) formed upon 2 + 2 cyclization of the double bonds in the presence of sunlight or heat.

Application

The Certified Reference Material (CRM) in solution can also be used as follows:
  • Multi-analysis of 11 cannabinoids in biomass and extracts of different cannabis varieties by an HPLC-UV method, following the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Tripartite Guideline for Validation of Analytical Procedures
  • Development and validation of an ultra high-performance liquid chromatographic (UHPLC) method coupled to photodiode array and mass spectrometry detectors to determine 11 cannabinoids in 32 Cannabis Sativa samples
  • Separation and estimation of 13 cannabinoids from different cannabis products using isocratic high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) in combination with a diode array detector (DAD)
  • Simultaneous determination of 18 cannabinoids and their metabolites from serum samples by LC-MS/MS-based method
  • Quantitative analysis of 17 cannabinoids in cannabis and hemp samples by LC-MS/MS following their liquid-solid extraction in accordance with AOAC and ASTM guidelines for cannabis and hemp matrices

Features and Benefits

  • Fully characterized under ISO/IEC 17025and ISO 17034 accreditation
  • Accompanied with a comprehensive certificate of Analysis (CoA) with data on stability, homogeneity, accuracy of concentration, uncertainty, and traceability
  • Rigorously tested through real-time stability studies to ensure accuracy and shelf life
  • Gravimetrically prepared using qualified precision balances to ensure minimal uncertainty
  • Flame sealed under argon into ampoules for long-term shelf life
