Application

The Vortex Mixer Fluidic 641 PMMA microfluidic chip applies passive mixing principles and sheath fluidic flow to ensure mixing. Vortex Mixer Fluidic 641 is one of three vortex mixer chip designs.

Features and Benefits

  • Four identical micromixing units per chip
  • Each unit features one outlet, a central inlet for solution A and another inlet for solution B
  • Solutions A and B mix and split into two lateral fluidic streams via sheath flow
  • To improve mixing, daisy-chaining of serval vortex units is recommended

Components

Chip Properties:
  • Mini Luer Interface
  • Material: Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)

Advanced drug delivery reviews, 128, 3-28 (2017-09-19)
Conventional systematically-administered drugs distribute evenly throughout the body, get degraded and excreted rapidly while crossing many biological barriers, leaving minimum amounts of the drugs at pathological sites. Controlled drug delivery aims to deliver drugs to the target sites at desired
