We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.

Application

Platinum on carbon (Pt/C) can be used as a catalyst for a variety of applications, such as:
  • hydrosilylation reaction for the production of molecules with silicon-carbon bonds
  • direct alcohol fuel cells (DAFCs)
  • an electrocatalyst in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER)
  • formation of nanocatalyst for polymer electrolyte fuel cells
Product can be used with our benchtop hydrogen generator, H-Genie Lite (Z744083)
