General description

L-α-phosphatidylcholine (Soy) is a naturally occurring phospholipid and the most abundant phospholipid in eukaryotic cellular membrane with high amount of PUFAs.

Application

Soy PC may be used for the synthesis of proteoliposomes, lipoprotein particle (LLP) mimics and flexible liposome (FLUV).

Biochem/physiol Actions

L-α-phosphatidylcholine plays an important role in the formation of liposomes. It is also used in small unilamellar vesicles (SUVs) synthesis.
