Angaben zum Gen

rabbit ... Mre11(4361)

Immunogen

The epitope recognized by PLA0057 maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Meiotic Recombination 11 homolog A using the numbering given in entry NP_005582.1 (GeneID 4361).

Physikalische Form

Tris-citrate/phosphate buffer, pH 7 to 8 containing 0.09% sodium azide

Sonstige Hinweise

Mre11 is a component of the MRN complex and plays a role in telomere maintenance and double-strand break (DSB) repair. Mre11 associates with rad50 in the MRN complex. Mre11 possesses 3′– 5′ exonuclease activity that is involved in creating DNA termini in DSB suitable for priming DNA synthesis and ligation.

Cholangiocarcinoma is a highly malignant tumor, and the development of new therapeutic strategies is critical. Karyopherin-α2 (KPNA2) functions as an adaptor that mediates nucleocytoplasmic transport. Specifically, KPNA2 transports one of the important DNA repair machineries, the MRE11-RAD50-NBS1 (MRN) complex, to

CRISPR-Cas genome editing induces targeted DNA damage but can also affect off-target sites. Current off-target discovery methods work using purified DNA or specific cellular models but are incapable of direct detection in vivo. We developed DISCOVER-Seq (discovery of in situ

Predictive assays are needed to help optimise treatment in muscle-invasive bladder cancer, where patients can be treated by either cystectomy or radical radiotherapy. Our finding that low tumour MRE11 expression is predictive of poor response to radiotherapy but not cystectomy

Chromosome ends contain nucleoprotein structures known as telomeres. Damage to chromosome ends during interphase elicits a DNA damage response (DDR) resulting in cell cycle arrest. However, little is known regarding the signaling from damaged chromosome ends (designated here as "TIPs")
