Allgemeine Beschreibung

Oxazepam-Glucuronid ist ein wichtiger Harn-Metabolit des Benzodiazepin-Medikaments Oxazepam. Oxazepam wird als Alepam, Medopam oder Murelax vermarktet®. Seit den 1960er Jahren wurde es häufig zur Behandlung von Angstzuständen und Schlaflosigkeit sowie zur Kontrolle der Symptome von Alkoholentzug angewendet. Diese zertifizierte Referenzlösung ist für GC/MS- oder LC/MS-Anwendungen mit Oxazepam oder Oxazepam-Glucuronid wie Urin-Drogenkontrollen, die Überwachung von Schmerzbehandlungen sowie die toxikologische oder forensische Analytik geeignet.

  • Advanced Analytical Techniques for Benzodiazepine Metabolites: Oxazepam glucuronide has been targeted in studies using high-performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). This method allows for the sensitive and automatic determination of diazepam and its metabolites, including oxazepam glucuronide, in human oral fluid, highlighting its utility in forensic and clinical toxicology (Jiang et al., 2016).
