Application
[3-(2,4,6-Trimethylbenzyl)-1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-4,5-dimethylimidazolylidene]gold chloride is an NHC catalyst bearing a highly hindered and flexible unsymmetrical NHC ligand for hydrofunctionalization reactions. This catalyst can be used in hydroelement additions, element-element additions, carbo-element additions, hydrations, hydroaminations, hydroarylations, hyroalkoxylations, hydrocarboxylations, cyclizations, hydrofluorinations, as well as a variety of combined processes using tandem reactions.
