Immunogen

a 18 amino acid peptide from near the center of human Nicastrin.

Application

Anti-Nicastrin has been used in western blotting.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Nicastrin (NCSTN) helps in the assembly of γ-secretase complex. It is associated with Alzheimer′s disease.

Linkage

The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP3985.
