General description

This highly accurate Warming Plate, set at an optimal 37°C (±1°C), is designed to Trypsinize Cells during cell passaging.

Features and Benefits

  • Avoids numerous entries into the CO2 incubator which alter its atmosphere, injuring ongoing experiments in the incubated cultures
  • Increases cell viability by keeping cells at an optimal temperature during examination of cell cultures outside of the incubator
  • Can be used to maintain the warmth of reagents inside the hood
  • Built in, 15 minute count down timer keeps track of the time that the trypsin has been on the cells
  • Temperature remains uniform across the entire anodized aluminum warming plate; measures 17.8 D x 20.3cmW (7 x 8”)
  • Fits easily in cell culture hoods or on the workbench
  • UV resistant polypropylene housing will not break down under germicidal UV lights
  • Water resistant and safe for cleaning with Ethanol or IPA
