Application

AlkylFluor, a bench-stable salt analogue of PhenoFluor, is a reagent for high-yielding deoxyfluorination of alcohols, including sterically demanding substrates. Insensitive to water and air, AlkylFluor provides convenient access to a broad scope of late-stage fluorinated products as demonstrated by the Ritter Lab.
Suggested reagents to use with AlkylFluor include potassium fluoride (449148) as a fluoride source and 1,4-dioxane (296309) as a solvent.
