General description
Hydrogen chloride (HCl) exists in gaseous form under normal conditions. It can be used either in the gaseous or solution form. HCl is generally used in the synthesis of organic, inorganic compounds, salt formation, pH control, neutralizations and surface cleaning.
Application
HCl can be used:
- As a catalyst in the synthesis of β-amino ketone in presence of H2O-SDS system by Mannich reaction.
- In the synthesis of polymer-layered silicate nanocomposites.
